HI guy's need some insite on this in the morning when I first start the KJ it seems like there's a dead spot somewhere the starter sounds fine but just before it fires it's seems real hard it'll do it after sitting for say about 3 hrs. runs like a champ it's just that initial start up,also this didn't start happening until the Mobil station I use changed over to ethanol so it's only been doing it a week,it's staying over night at the dealer sunday but wanted to see if you guy's could come up with something ? it's only got 28,000 on it & my wifes KJ is fine so far but she uses 3 diff. Mobile stations

I noticed mine stumbles a little when I start. I really don't think there's much difference from station to station on the 87 oct. with up to 10 % ethanol in it ... Shouldn't our computers be able to adjust to the different fuel we're putting in it?? After all they adjust to each one of our driving habits as someone has stated on the site b4?

Interesting... My 05 seems to have needed an extra second of cranking before starting in the morning for about the past month. I wonder if this is a local problem? Maybe all the rain and/or a new ethanol % in the fuel? I'm more suspect of the rain.

rain or shine it doesn't matter it's constint,I thought it may be the fuel also but they claim no,there would be no code for it either because it's not an electrical part
