You say that the tire carrier is coming soon. If you order the bumper, can the carrier be mounted later or do you have to wait to order the bumper with the carrier?

Tire carrier can be mounted at any time, still working on it some more. But pretty much be a bolt on deal.

Over two years ago I did this, got burned on one, so stopped for a while.
But maybe making more . Just have to determine if there is actually enough interest to make it worth while .

I would think there would be a lot of interest as everyone that used to make them is not anymore. I have been looking for months. I have also a 2006 Liberty that I may put one on also but definitely I will purchase the first one I can find for the 2005. It was hit in the rear recently and I do not want to waste money on a new plastic bumper. Mine are both diesels and I do not plan to ever get rid of them. Let me know if you want to make one for me!

If you are still considering making more rear bumpers Tom, I might be interested too. I can make my own but I can't be bothered and yours looks a lot better than that blue lake off road rubbish...but I would need it shipped to the UK...What is the likely cost, inc shipping?
BTW, how much heavier than the standard Plastic bumper is yours?

I realize this is an old thread, but I have been searching everywhere for a rear bumper and have only found Blue Lake Off Road. But, after reading the horrible things about them, that's not a consideration. So, does anyone know of a current fabricator? or someone willing to sell plans? I could probably find someone to build but I wouldn't trust them to design.
