Maybe to add lights on, but I wouldn't think it would be a good idea to have a brushguard attached to the hitch, just since it would be the first point of contact in a collision, it would cause some pretty messed up damage (not to mention that it would move the force away from the bumper, and thus the passengers wouldn't be as well protected in the collision (possible airbag failure, etc). Brushguards look nice when they are installed, I say go for a permenent one anyway
