Sorry but REALLY wish some would read and look at Pictures
The Komodo was/is a Rock Lizard bumper I'm not Rock Lizard

btw, you're going to have to link to pix that aren't on photo-bucket.

Talking to 5th fabricator right now,
people say they want work then when you show them what you have, whats required ( cut and bend per my specs ) , they say yes and then " Oh by the way it will be 3-4 months" CRAZY
Of course one place already took my plans and made one , but looked like 5 year old welded it

Id like to get in on this. Like so many, I wish I had bought one of the rear bumpers some of the members were making.

Anything I can do to help out. I want a tire carrier and a gas can carrier.

Met with two other fabrication shops today
One gave an estimate right away,
He would build them for me, but a minimum of 50 at 900 each
I waited for the punch line..........and he just stood there
So asked if he was serious and yes he was ............. :furious:
Oh and money up front before he would even think of starting
Told him Thanks and walked away................
Other shop will figure up have estimate by Monday afternoon.
Looking at both plain bottom and ones with holes like first go-around

Look, Tommudd... I think we can do smaller batches up here in Canada AND get a better price.... it is worth a try at least.

PM me with contact info.

Take advantage of that Cheap Canadian Labor? Get some business back from China!!
If only it were less expensive to ship across the border than to ship across the Pacific...

The product will most definitely meet NAFTA. I can even research with my contact at the Department of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to get the HTSUS number and/or get an online NAFTA ruling from one of the C.B.P. Import Specialists.

One of my customers here in Edmonton is a very good fabricator, and can weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum.... VERY well. We really like the Komodo Dragon rear bumper design, and I think we can pull it off in steel or aluminum. We require plans and dimensions, though, and some idea of how to pre-cut and bend the pieces before welding.

I will talk to him, and see what he thinks.

I'm very interested in any form of rear bar replacement that is available. There's nothing local here at all. If assistance could be gained in shipping to Australia then you've got a sale, and i'll pay up front, none of this half and half nonsense.
Ideally a set of swing away arms would be sweet.

Of course, some working pictures wouldn't hurt... :D Can you get those fixed so we can see what the bar looks like?

Thanks in advance!

I'm such a numpty. Didn't realise i could just open the failed images directly to photobucket.

Wasn't working on my phone...

That is one VERY nice looking bar. Can't wait to see what a proposed swing out section looks like

Would you consider selling the plans and we could get a local fabricator to build one?
