Anyone know what happened? Tried to get ahold of Tom, but no response so far. Wanted to find out if these bumpers are still being sold...

Pretty sure they are still being sold. Don't worry, Tom will get back with you. He's about one of the most active people on this forum. Sometimes he has trips to make that take him away from a computer for a couple of days, but he'll be back!

Any ideas why they discontinued the KK line?

Well I have been thinking of doing another run but here lies the issue
To make it really worth while I would want to do at least 8-10
Last time had 20 plus people who really really really wanted one
Then as time got closer I knew many would drop out.
So did a run of ten , after making them, some wanted a cheaper price, some wanted to do payments
Being a VERY small business I can't do that PLUS even OME/ARB does not take payments
then some were " well I want mine this way or that " Its the way it is, one style
In the end sold all but one, they paid some down and have been waiting OVER 19 months for the rest of their money
( suppose to pay within a month had prepaid half to be sure to get one )
So here I am today trying to decide if I want to go through the frustration again ! :banghead: :ROTFL:
I don't even have one for myself is the sad part :dizzy:
So are some really interested ??

hmm, sounds like you might just have to say full payment up front. You would be one of the very few offering them, and doing us all a favor. You also probably want to avoid paypal where they can yank the funds back if they change their mind after you've already put a bunch of work into it, and just take a check or money order. :2cents:

Im with Tom. Had two people pay me, never picked up, finally did after almost 9 months. Then one guy had paypal return his payment after he got the bumper home. So that was $1500 out my pocket.

It was a constant struggle, asking me to make this and that a certain way. Then shipping......yeah. plus the time I spent vs profit. Its easier to sleep at work than making bumpers.

In the end, it cost me more money and more headache. Im still making my wife one and a few guys some custom bits. But now I have a new toy to tinker with.

I really wanted a front bumper made (more popular than rear) and because of those reasons goat and tom listed, never was able to had mine delivered. And as far as i know, the guy stopped making stuff :(. Sucks for content creators. The thing is people are cheap lol. Hell, i'm new here and i already know couple people who stopped making stuff for kj.

Been a while since anything has been said. I would be interested in a rear bumper Tom if you were planning a run for 2017. I would be willing to pay in advance. I understand it takes more than one person's interest. Or if anyone has one just lying around [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES] Hit me up.

Seriously thinking of it soon, without advertising just trying to get a read on how many I may move . Its easier to say make 10 /15 at one time , than one here and there you know.

I'd like one - the only issue for me would be the shipping cost to England.
