What do you think all? Which one is a better choice?

I Had the HH, but after seeing the Drawtite in person, I think it is the better choice. Naturally, they didn't make the Drawtite when I got my HH. :)

My understanding is that the Hidden Hitch is easier to install, but the DrawTite is stronger. Depends on what you need, I suppose.

EDIT: Actually, you didn't say whether you were referring to the front or rear. My comment applies to the front hitch.

I was looking at the drawtite. My question is how does everyone like having the front hitch as opposed to the tow hooks. The tow hooks look cool, but it seems that the hitch might be more versitile and useful. Hom many are running hitches up front?

Right now I am looking at a hitch for the rear, but in the future will likely get one for the front to replace the hooks. I hate seeing those hooks flex, they look like they wanna snap when pulling from an angle!! Speaking of hooks, I assume that the rear hook has to be removed to make room to mount the hitch? Thank for all the feedback so far!

My comment and vote was for front hitch. I have a factory rear hitch that i am tired of dragging on the rocks.....oh and parkling curbs too.

I've got Drawtites front and rear and I love 'em both. Incredibly strong and I believe (strictly opinion) that they are the best recovery points. One word on the rear hitch though... it may be stronger than the HH however it does decrease the departure angle a lot. You'll just be draggin the hitch quite a bit. If you don't mind touching it up every now and again, it's great.

I actually view my rear hitch as an additional skid plate..

Post subject:  ACME Hitch

I got some off brand hitch(ACME) at a Farm & Home store. I like the way it looks, but was more difficult to install than it should have been. The gas take cover was about a 1/4inch in the way in one spot and I spent hours prying to get the predrilled holes to line up just right. The only part of the hitch that is visible is the receiver.

And with this hitch, I did have to leave off the rear tow hook ... but who needs a tow hook when you've got a hitch?

My vote is HH. I assumed you were referring to a rear hitch with your general question on hitch preference.

My comments on the other hand relate to rear & front hitches. They're both quality hitches. What it really comes down to is which style you prefer. In my case, my decision was based on the need for quality recovery points, not towing.
