Yeah...spend an afternoon in downtown Toronto, Ontario. You'll get your front wondow spit on by homeless people who then take a squeegee and clean it off, and ask for money, like they've done you a good turn or service. THEEEEN, you'll get you car spat on by pedestrians and cyclists who think they own the entire roadway....its a wonderful fun city..... THEEEN, you'll get spit on by some idiotic "homeboys" gun because you looked at him.....cool huh.. I sympathize completely |

One nice big spit wad sliding down my driver's side window.......well i pulled out of the spacees and told my dad becasue i was upset and if i had gotten out i would have hurt someone.....anger management i know....so he asks the guys if they spit on my window and all they say is "what?" and he continues to drill them and here was their comeback "it was muddy" so we left it at that and went to dinner, the next day we saw him pulling out of a parallel parking spot in hi new cobal and like they say what goes around comes around he creased his back bumper and chewed up a rim and all my dad did was hold up a thumb to tell him good job
That is the longest sentence I have ever seen! Don't double park, it's illegal and you're lucky you only got spit on. There are plenty of drivers out there who key double parkers. If you think you're angry at seeing spit on the window, imagine how angry you'd be if you were in a rush and found yourself blocked in by some @$$ who was too lazy to find a real spot. Double Parking is when you park in such a way as to block other cars. It's often done by people who are "just running in real quick" and quite often by moving trucks, taxis, and delivery trucks. YOU however, were going inside to take a NAP, and I think you could have found a real spot. But maybe by "double park" you meant "taking two spots", which is completely different, but also a rude thing to do, especially if it's close to the building. If you want to take 2 spaces, park further away from the entrance and don't do it in a full parking lot. As for the spit, you don't know it was him, it very well could have been any of the 10 other drivers who tried to pull into/out of that spot while you were napping. |

Bro, that post was a little harsh. Yeah it would appear he overlapped the space beside him a bit.....however not illegal.....spitting on someones car is. Rule of the day....settle down, and don't lose your cool over something as trivial as how someone has parked their car, and find another spot if someone has taken up too many spaces. I have encountered "overly aggressive" people who complain about how someone has parked...illegally parked or not, the complainant often ends up in "cuffs and a short bus" |

I have encountered "overly aggressive" people who complain about how someone has parked...illegally parked or not, the complainant often ends up in "cuffs and a short bus" Oh, I know, I would never do anything like that myself, but I have been frustrated by being double-parked in and I'm sure a lot of drivers would take that kind of action, especially in a city. If he was just taking two spaces, that's not Double-Parking which was the point I was trying to make (click the link in my other post to see what Double-Parking is)....Double Parking is illegal and really rude, often blocks somebody in so that they physically cannot leave their parking space. Taking two spaces intentionally is just normal-rude, like parking in a handicapped spot or on a sidewalk. People who just cross the line a little bit is usually because the person on their other side did the same thing and so on, so that's obviously not intentional. |

yeah my mistake fellas i merely took two spots up because the spaces were small and i parked in the back of the hotel, didnt mean to rant, my apologies. And yes i will take spit on the window vs. a key or trash can dumped on my hood, but its the fact that i caught them in the act and it was still fresh that just made me angry....its okay im over it life goes on right |

Actually, an attack with bodily fluids can be defended against with deadly force in this day and AIDS. |

Easy there "Charter".....and the fact that defending against bodily fluids is true, it is considered an assault, and arrestable. Canadian "Use of Force" law dictates all types of assaults are immediately arrestable ( and the assault doesn't have to be completed, it CAN be merely implied ) "Force plus one" is the general rule, so...if you push me, I can punch you (to get you to stop pushing me), if you punch me I can hit you with my expandable ASP (to get you to stop punching me) if you threaten me with a knife I can shoot you ( to get you to stop attacking me with the knife).....as it relates to spit I can punch you and arrest you. Anyway, revenge was done, he screwed up his car....done and done |

Zeero, I wasn't referring to the1jferg anyway. I just thought it was kinda effed up to be chastizing someone who got their car spat upon for such a minor offense... I do like the "Force Plus One" rule however. |
