Have you ever wanted a Mopar rear air deflector for your Jeep Liberty to keep the dust and dirt off the rear window? I know I have since I live on a dirt road and badly needed one!!

Just found them with a low sale $$$ price and with free shipping, and ordered one.

Thanks for the post. I don't care much about the dirt, but, hmm, I wonder if those smooth out the trailing edge air flow any? On a side note, I wonder if the drag is more or less with the spare tire mounted?

Still evaluating, nothing but rainey wet weather here since install. Does seem to keep rear window a little clearer in light rain going down the road at speed. When it dries out enough to make some dust, will see how well it keeps the red dust off the window... :|

I love the way it looks. Wish they made one for the KK since it looks awesome on the KJ. If it works well, then that's a plus.

With a lift and lower-offset wheels, a lot more dust and road spray gets kicked onto on the rear. Please let us know your feedback.

I've had one for a few years now and am very happy with it I'm sourcing another one for our second liberty. Seems they are becoming rare. Thanks for posting the above link.
My experience without it was that the snow build up on the back window was to much and had to use the wiper often while driving. With the spoiler there is no snow build up on the window. I think it's doing the same for dust in the summer months as I rarely use my rear wiper if at all. :2cents:

Update:
Just for Jeeps no longer lists the rear deflector! I updated original post with new picture and link.
Jeep Parts People lists the OEM part no. and price is very reasonable...

And yes, it does help keep rear window a little cleaner and keeps dust off the rear window when going down a dusty dirt road!!!!

I've had one on my rig since 06 and it worked great. Once I threw on the roof rack (08) the performance of the defector seemed to suffer. I'd say a couple miles down a dusty road I have to use my wiper to clean of the glass.

How hard is the install? Any drilling involved ?

Yes there is drilling involved, but the Mopar part comes with a nice template and instructions which allows you to install it correctly!!!

I have noticed this too

I wish they did a better job on the mounting location of these... I think the glass mounting brackets would have been a better choice
