Well maybe you need to put in some more power steering fluid in or something could be wrong with the power steering perhaps. Not sure about the transmission issue, are you parked and changing from park to D to D2 to D1 or are you moving while doing making change? |

Regarding the power steering I recently change the power steering pump This sound comes when I keep the car for some time and when I start driving that sound will come……. Regarding the transmission if am driving in a normal road the transmission easily changes from D to D2 or D1 but if I am off roading then the transmission change only when the RPM goes to 2 …. What do you think????? I have 3.7l auto kJ jocular |

Power Steering: After changing the pump did you or whomever installed it attach hoses properly and put in the proper fluid? i checked my cap today while cleaning and mine states to put in only authorized steering fluid.... Transmission: Depending on how hard you were off roading the transmission might be under some strain, say your on an incline then the shift from gear to gear will be harder and thus result in a noise or a rough feeling felt in the car perhaps, but that would be for a manual, you say you have an auto so there might be something similar to that going on there as well, not too sure..... these are just thoughts and guesses as i am no professional mechanic or anything.... |
