To add a oil pressure gauge I used a 1/8 NPT Tee and 1/8 NPT hex nipple. I removed the stock oil pressure gauge/switch and installed the hex nipple and then the tee. I removed the front bumper and the oil filter to get access to the port.

Back in the stone age we were admonished to avoid electric gauges like the clap! Of course with manual gauges, one was always having to contend with holes rubbed in the line and an oily mess,,,,,given you noticed it before running out of oil.

I'm guessing new electro is much better?

Got a part number or info on the other sensor? This works for any aftermarket oil gauge? Or?

Pressure sending units are calibrated matched to specific gauges! There is no "standard"!

If you purchase an electric pressure or temperature gauge, be sure it comes with the corresponding sending unit or sensor that goes with it!
