Looks good when you get it, but any breach in the surface means rust everywhere. I'll take a good coat of por15 any day for a durable base coat. My winch mount had some surface rust, I removed the winch and discovered that the powder coat is just flacking off everywhere. |

Totally agree, powder coat is way down on my list of favorite things for bumpers etc |

On my winch mount I used this stuff. Seems good so far but hasn't seen a winter yet. http://www.amazon.com/VHT-SP670-Gloss-B ... B000CPCRMC I didn't check but maybe Amazon has a used version....I asked at autozone but they don't usually sell certified preowned paint.

I've never knew guys were powder coating off road stuff. I usually hear about people powder coating the rims over anything else. |
