They seem to have forgotten to send the circular metal spacers with my backbone. Can someone please tell me the size and where I can find them? Thanks. |

I went ahead and installed it without them. Should be fine right? |

I'd ask Tommud if I was you, I couldn't tell you, mine is still in a box buried in storage. |

I've only helped install a couple and can't think right off where they are If they are in an area that attaches to the frame , then yes they are needed but.... ?? |

Where the bracket goes into the front crossmember the spacers go inside the crossmember right next to the bracket. I'll try to find a picture. To be completely honest I'm not even sure if there was a hole drilled in my bracket for that bolt. http://s234.photobucket.com/user/MPSpec ... 0.jpg.html |

Had a chat with detours via email. They said that they actually deleted the short spacers that go inside the frame on the side of the brackets and the associated fasteners. So I guess I was worried for nothing lol. I think I will make a post on the how-to thread for the install just to inform other members and save them the worry lol. |

When I got mine last summer I didn't get the spacers either. Went ahead and installed it. No issues. |
