Ok.. I got my front end fixed it was the inner drive shaft and CV joint.. during a recent winter event we had where the temperature dropped below 0.. i had a battery go bad.. i replaced the battery with a new one.. everything was working well for over a month but recently I been having an issue.. Some days the starter will crank over no problem.. others i sometimes have to hold the key forward and after 10-20 seconds it will turn over.. I have done some research but im not sure if its the starter relay or could it be the infamous Ignition Switch Actuator Pin or 'safety' wire to the shifter.. as sometimes i can move that back and forth a few times and it will start..

Can anyone give me details on how to diagnose this problem so I can tackle fixing it myself.. i live 30-45mins from the nearest parts store so I usually order parts online..

thanks in advance..

Try start it in "Neutral" instead of "Park"....if it starts nicely then the problem is with the shifter cable or the "Park" solenoid switch on the transmission.

Very easy to also swap over the Starter Relay in the box under the hood with an identical one next to it.
