I didn't get any remote with my Liberty when I bought it. How can I find out if it came with keyless or not?

I would start at the dealer, and give them your VIN (Last 8#'s) and have them print you out a build sheet.

My build sheet has it listed like this:

GXMP - Remote Keyless Entry
GXXP - Sentry Key Theft Deterrent System

Yours should be close to this depending on the year and codes for that year.

I recently have found out that mine has keyless entry, but didn't come with remotes. I have ordered them online and they should arrive any day. My question is how do I program them? I bought the car off an individual, and i don't wanna go to the dealer and have him say..."we can't do this for you, you didn't buy the car here"

Do they charge anything for printing a build sheet?

Just go to the Jeep website and send them an email in their system under Contact Us. Include the VIN on the email and they will send you a build sheet for nothing.

I just picked up my new Liberty and asked how much a replacement key would be if I lost mine.

$190.00 for keyless entry with no pattern to use for the chip.

$110.00 for a 'grey' key that will run the car and unlock the doors.

well i have a key remote from a 2005 KJ RME that I totalled if anyone might need one, my dad already threw out the other one but i kept my main one...dealer should be able to reprogram them, i know my local dealer did for my dad's Sebring when he bought it used elsewhere and needed/wanted a keyless entry...
