being sarcastic.... i was in an accident on the expressway yesterday. i rear ended a car that was going 60mph. i didn't even notice that they were going that slow until too late. im guessing i have at least 5,000 dollars worth of damage. the cool thing is though that both fenders were ripped off and the liberty looks pretty cool now....hehehe....ohh boy. anyways, everybody was o.k. and now i will probably be paying like 300 dollars a month in car insurance. later

WOW!!!!! Glad everyone was okay. From working in a body shop I would have $$$$ in my eyes, sorry but we lived off others misfortunes.Just think you can get the insurance money and fix yourself and have a buttload left over for more mods. It's a real sad site to see your baby ruined, but life goes on as long as nobody was hurt.

Definitely glad to here you are okay...the increase in insurance shouldn't hurt too bad. Besides, if it hits your wallet before the body, you should be happy.

I will say, these things hold up fantasically in an accident. While I did take a trip in an ambulance, I came out with nothing more than a few scrapes, a sore chest (broke ribs playing hockey 1 month prior), and a banged up knee...but could have been much worse.

BWT...damage at $19,500 before they saw the underbody bolts missing on the rear of the car. Car was a totaly loss...

Glad to hear you're okay from the wreck. From everything I've seen, it appears that the passenger compartment holds up really well in wrecks.

I have to agree with that.....I had my own share of an accident with the kj.....I was doing about 40 when I T-boned this guy who didnt stop at his atop sign and came across the road. His brand new accord was totalled but KJ only suffered cosmetical damages (hood, fender, radiator)

yeah, its not as bad as some of those pictures......jeeeeeezzz. i thought insurance money only replaced what was damaged. how do i go about getting different stuff like an arb bumper. i was going to ask them to replace the hood with the renegade hood and grille and foglights but i don't know what they will tell me. i'll be starting to call places monday. does anybody have any suggestions for me what to do. this is my first accident

brian

thanks

insurance tells you what theyre gonna pay for damage, then they write you a check....what you do with that money is for you to decide. unless its a leased vehicle, which gets really complicated
