I've noticed there are some little things that my renny didn't come with from the dealer. Things like the rear pull-out cargo cover... I've even heard about some people getting 'Jeep' tents with their libbys. So i put the question to you guys.... What little extras did you get with your libbys???? |

About the only extra I got was two smoking deals that I couldn't pass up. $22k on the nose for a brand new 04 special ordered from the factory with just what I wanted. It was neat seeing the invoice with it listed as being built for me. Now that great price could have had something to to with the fact that I also ordered a 04 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 at the same time. But I think I got one hell of a deal on it also. The libby invoice "which I know means crap" was listed at $24,800 and sticker was like 26k. So 22k out the door I think was great. I have bought 4 vehicles from the same dealer in just over 2 years. I am dang glad I found this dealer. I walked out with an 03 Neon SXT with only 7k miles on it for 10 even. It served as a great commuter car until the back end was mounted by a Ford Explorer going at about 80mph with me going 20. After that I got a 04 Sebring 4 banger with only 15k miles on it out the door for 12.5k. Both cars were certified by DC "lotta good that did for the Neon" but the Sebring now has 44k miles on it. Gotta love that 8/80 from the factory on a certified used car. |

cargo cover is part of the Security group, which included the alarm and tinted glass on the 05s (I assume it is similar with the 06). The tent is a mopar accessory, I believe, so including something like that is up to the dealer. The tent itself is really overpriced, though, you're better off just buying a tent. |

I was promised seat covers with my KJ if I bought it but they weren't with the Renny when I picked it up. At the time I didn't say anything because I was just excited to get my new KJ and I really didn't care that much about the covers. However, when DC sent me the dealer survey I called up my sales guy and used the scenario as leverage. Basically told them that I would give them a horrible rating, including comments regarding unfulfilled promises, if they didn't provide me with what they promised. They stated something about how expensive the seat covers were and that they make such a small profit on each sale that they couldn't afford to do that(I nearly laughed at the guy when he said that). Since I really didn't want the covers I said that they could redeem themselves a bit by giving me a free cargo cover. They found the compromise bearable and gave me the cargo cover. |

I got the grocery cargo organizer that is worthless if you want to use it for anything heavy... That is about it.. Everything else is what I was looking for when I bought mine.. Full skids, hitch, front tow hooks.. I had CRS rock rails put on after I bought it.. Ben |

What did the dealership do for me? Sweeeet F all.... During the deal they even made said they'd throw in a tire cover... Gee... they threw in something that usually comes with it? wow... gentlemen and scholars... Really disappointed with them... serious lack of communication on their part too... If i didnt love the KJ so much I might have just walked away from the deal... Considering doing all my maintenance at another dealership... Boy I can't wait until DC Canada contacts us about the *supposed* five star service... |

The dealer I bought mine from didn't throw anything in. I didn't even get a tire cover. I think they became upset with me when I told them I was taking all of my stereo/alarm equipment out of my trade-in and wouldn't let them even breath on it until I had. Doesn't bother me at all. I still got the 0% for 60 when I bought it. |

well, thats not exactly the response i was expecting to be honest... I've dealt with DC before, and i didn't have too many positive things to say about them. But i'm kind of surprised that this seems to be a more common feeling |

Well, the 06 Renny comes with: - exclusive flat hood, tall seven slot grille, large round fog lamps - Exclusive tubular roof rack and rock rails with tow hooks - Standard two-tone bucket seats - 210hp 3.7L V6 - Standard ESP, ABS - Cloth high-back bucket seats - P225/75R16 Outline White Letter All Season tires - 16" x 7.0" painted gray mineral metallic aluminum wheels - 6 speakers - AM/FM stereo radio with in-dash CD player, equalizer, and CD changer controls. Provides 66 watts of total power and 10 AM and 10 FM station presets. - Air conditioning - Deep tint sunscreen glass - Cruise control Adding the "D" package to the Renny gives you: - 6-way power driver's seat with adjustable headrest - Roof-mounted light bar - Tail lamp guards - Skid plates - Rockrails Anything else you got on your truck was either charge extra for, or "given" to you for "free." The cargo cover thing (rolls out and covers the rear cargo area) is part of the $175 "Security Group" (Cargo Compartment Cover & Security Alarm). The read cargo organizer is a $250 option (it wasn't that expensive last year). It's not the strongest thing in the world, but I've stacked some considerable weight on it without it breaking. That was my big "free" item when I got my truck. I told them I didn't want it and they didn't want to take it out of the truck...so they gave it to me. My truck didn't have a tire cover on it, which was supposed to be part of my Limited package. I looked all over the lot and there was only one single KJ with a tire cover on it when I purchased (there were 37 Libertys on the lot). I told the salesman that the package was supposed to include a tire cover, so he went and pulled it off the one truck that had one and put it on mine. They want to sell a vehicle, they're not going to quabble over a little thing here and there. But, if you didn't drive off the lot with it...you'll probably never get it. And I'm being really nice in saying "probably." |
