I think three words describe it all for me... Oh Hell Yeah! I picked up my KJ Renegade last Monday and instantly fell in love... There has been some serious infatuation since obtaining the lease in late March but driving it off the lot... Priceless... heh heh I traded in a Mercury Cougar and what a different driving experience... I have owned a Tempo, a Cavalier and a 99 Mercury Cougar... I am sure you can imagine the differences in driving between those cars and my new KJ... Correction... Our new KJ... My wife is a 50/50 partner in this... I absolutely love the ride height... I no longer fall into my seat... I slide up into it... I don't have to struggle to look through the windows of other cars... I now look OVER them... And as for the so called competition... There might be some bigger ones out there but most of the Escapes, Tributes, CRVs, etc that I drive by aren't nearly as tall as my KJ... Not to mention the fact that I have the Skid Group installed... like to see any of the *competition* follow me onto a trail... Anyway... I love it, my wife loves it and we are looking forward to taking it out wheelin once we break it in a bit more... The bad news : I promised no offroading until we reach 1000 KM The good news : we are already at 500! heh heh Here are a few pics I posted in the other part of the forum if anyone is interested... And finally here is what I have to say to all those who look down on the KJ and say it isn't a "Real Jeep"... Click me... Patrick |

Congrats on the new KJ. I know exactly what you're talking about with the feeling of driving the Jeep off the lot. It was awesome. I've had my KJ for a little over two years now and have about 40,000 miles on it. The first time my Renny went on a trail was at Camp Jeep '05 and that was a blast. If you're looking for a fun three day weekend revolving around all things Jeep then I would highly recommend this year's Camp Jeep. It's in Eklhart Lake, Wisconsin so it's a bit of a drive for you but you might want to check it out. Jeep has a site up with info at http://www.jeep.com/campjeep |

I think the most amazing thing for me is that 4 years later, I still like my KJ as much as the day I picked it up from the dealership. |

Mine is a lot better lately thanks to a security audit we had fly through here... I like to think of it as chaotic organization... I know where everything is! And if I don't know where it is then it wasn't that important to begin with! |
