I couldn't find any thread for posting special tools that make life easier for the DIYers among us, so I put this here.

When I first saw this thing in my brother's shop I didn't know what it was, but once I used the thing I don't know how I ever got by all these years of bending over fenders and grilles and working at arm's length lifting heavy parts. It works from the front, from the side, (especially well if the front tire is off the ground) and even works for washing and waxing the vehicle roof if it's not too tall.

It has made working on this little Libby especially enjoyable.

No doubt it works well to relieve back stress... BUT...

I'm pretty sure I can pay someone to weld up some tube steel and bolt some padding to it for far less than that.

He got his on some promo deal from snap-on before he shut his business to take a State job.
