Long time no post. So 6 years ago I put in a OME lift on my 03 KJ. My passenger side axle needed to be replace last month. Since then the clip had popped 3 times. The axle keeps popping out. The shop is covering it but cannot figure out why it is happening. The drivers side has been fine. Any idea why it keeps coming undone. |

It might be too short. I don't know what the exact length should be but it should match the old one. Others have reported getting a replacement CV axle from a local auto parts store and it not being the correct length. |

Got mine at Autozone and have had nothing but problems. They have been nice enough to work with me on a solution to get it resolved though Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk |

Been posted many many times over the years that the ones fro flatozone and other such places are usually too short, will work somewhat OK on a non lifted but not on a lifted KJ/KK NAPA rebuilts are the only ones I will install due to that very fact. But thats the problem, they are too short |

Ditto on Tom's advice Had the same problem from 'PartSource' axles (basically a car/truck focused Canadian Tire). Popped out three times for me and on the last time, ground the splines down...not returnable. Swapped in a known good OEM axle and it's all good again. |
