Took the battery to NAPA to load test it there. Said it was at 350 CCA (Battery rated at 800 CCA) @ 100% charge. So I bought a new battery. Installed new battery, didn't fix the problem.

The problem is that I go to turn the key. NOTHING! No dash lights, no interior lights, no crank, zip, nada.

Recent maintenance: Transmission service with new filters and pan (45RFE)

Other problems with Jeep: issue with ignition key cylinder. Key can be pulled out with engine running.

Not sure what to check or what to do.

Please help. Thanks.

Also should add that the terminals are clean and free of corrosion.

Could it be the PCM?

If nothing at all happens I suspect a broken ignition switch or actuator pin take a look at viewtopic.php?f=5&t=60575&hilit=ignition+switch or viewtopic.php?f=5&t=61233&hilit=brother

Thanks for your suggestion. It was a loose connection to the negative post. Stupid me.

Ok. So it happened again. Terminals clean and tight and battery is full. Nothing, no crank, no lights.

Anyone know what the screw type/size is for the cover under the steering wheel to get to the ignition switch and cylinder?

So weird, because it worked for the entire day on Tuesday then when I go to start it after its been parked overnight. Nothing. Hooked up a battery charger to it. Full charge, light on charger is green. Doesn't want to start.

I think they are standard Phillips

Mine had a similar issue, thought it was the actuator pin/ignition switch. After I spent an hour or so replacing those still had an intermittent start issue. Mine turned out to be the starter relay in the fuse box under the hood. Mine is a CRD, but should still be the same electrical wise I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I swapped my relay with the one that said Hi/Lo wiper switch, and it fired right up. So then just picked up a new relay and keeping it as a spare now.
