| Post subject: | Weird smell when heat on? |
Sometimes when I turn my heat on I get a weird smell of like burning oil or some liquid, doesnt last forever, doesnt happen with A/C, just heat. Anyone have an idea what this could be? I know we dont have an air cabin filter to change, but its kind of driving me crazy... |

How's your coolant level? Any odd film on the windows? Could be coolant if the heater core is leaking. |

Not sure how a leaky rad would only smell inside with the heat on..would think it would always draw that air in. |

sounds like maybe your valve cover gasket is leaking and you get the burning smell i had that issue before. |
