I have a 2006 jeep liberty crd in need of a new front bumper cover. it looks gray and doesn't look painted but when I look up replacement bumpers they show the cover as2005-2007 Jeep Liberty Textured . I have seen the covers in white or color matched to the vehicle any thoughts? the cover won't anyway match as they have faded |

The smooth color matched ones are the "Limited" Models. Sport have the textured gray plastic. Sport has matching body color grille cover. I have seen Limited models with both faux chrome, and body colored grille covers. I don't know to what extent the 02-04 models are interchangeable with the 05-07, but the grilles, front bumper covers, and front fender flares are different, so you would at the very least need to change all as a set, for it to look factory. Of course, you could always take the opportunity to make yourself a steel bumper, or put on an ARB... |

As someone who had to replace my front bumper cover once due to an accident, and stupidly let the insurance company fix it instead of taking the check for damages..... take the opportunity to install a real bumper like the ARB. Cost is the same if not even a little cheaper to do so. |
