Anyone know anything about these Chrysler Navigation radios? The Ebay listing says that it will fit my 2002 Limited.

Do they need something else besides this unit for the navigation to work? Like something that gets the GPS locator signals? Antenna?

The socket connections on the back look the same as a standard radio.

Thanks

I think a person needs the disc and the antenna...You could probably search for the Mopar instructions on google and it would show all the parts needed..

Thanks, yes it appears that you need the radio display unit + GPS antenna + DVD. There are some new Navigation radios for sale also.

have one of these in my 2008 Grand Cherokee. i would get something else. something with android auto or apple carplay.
the mopar nav head units require a very expensive disc to update the map packs. like ~140 dollars worth....

Yeah, I've been doing some research and there are some aftermarket options that are available that seem to be cheaper and better than the stock units. I want to make sure that it works with my steering wheel controls as well and maybe run my MP3s without a separate unit.
