I'm having an issue that I cant seem to put my finger on. Vehicle 06 kj CRD 2.5" lift

Driving over patchy snow/ice I have the wheel jerks causing some grief. It is most noticeable above 35mph and can rather terrifying at 50mph.

I have some wooble in my steering on dry pavement but everything seem to track true. I am getting some bad wear patterns on the out side edge of the tires.
Any notice able sound comes from the passenger side, where I have replaced the CV already. All my ball joints seem slack free and the wheel bearing seems fine.

The only odd ball issue to me is that with tires off the ground the articulation of the passenger cv cause the wheel to not rotate freely. The wheel will turn then bind and can be forced over but it does so by flexing the control arms and diff. On the road I cant hear anything that sounds worse than Tire noise.

I need to get this resolved so I can keep the CRD, as the lady is terrified to ride in it.

First, make sure all your lug nuts are tight.
Second, maybe you need an alignment.
Third, inspect your tie rod ends.

When you replaced your CV axle, did you make sure that it was the correct length for a CRD?
CV axles for a 3.7L v6 are different.

what lift do you have
Exact measurements ( measure from middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare on left front ) since its darn near impossible to run 32s on a 2.5 inch lift and have no rubbing
then above questions

Went and got an alignment, everything was out quite a ways so it was worth the $$. Also replaced the front rotors as some of my research suggest this could be an issue.

The shake has gotten better but can still be felt at 60mph.

I have a feeling the issue is being caused by CV axle. What is the correct CRD length vs the Gasser length for the CV?
The way in which the axle is binding I feel that the shaft or cup is to long, not short. As the wheel rotates it causes the diff to flex in the mounts/suspension shaking the vehicle like the wheel is flexed to the extreme.

Also for reference I believe I have a 2.5" lift. The measurement from center of axle to wheel flare is 21.5". As far as I can find my lift should not be require cut axle cups.

Thoughts?

I do not know what is the correct CV axle length for a CRD.
But I do know that when you buy replacement CV axles you have to specify that you want ones for a Liberty with a 4 cylinder engine. Otherwise you will get axles for the V6 Liberty that may not be the correct length.
