Sometimes, when I shift into reverse, my libby won't go. I shift it into park, then back and she works. I've checked the tranny fluid and it's fine. Is my transmission getting ready to go bye-bye?

Have you checked both ends of the shifter cable? Mopar likes to use a POS plastic parts to lock the cable onto the shifter linkages. The plastic just disintegrates after so many years.

Agree with USPLibby, as when the plastic disintegrates, the adjustment goes wrong. This kind of behavior refers to wrong adjustment of the cable.

No, I haven't checked the shifter, but since I had to rig up a fix for the transfer case 2 years ago, that's definitely worth a shot. I'll get her up on the ramps this morning and take a look.

Thanks
