Sometimes, when I shift into reverse, my libby won't go. I shift it into park, then back and she works. I've checked the tranny fluid and it's fine. Is my transmission getting ready to go bye-bye? |

Have you checked both ends of the shifter cable? Mopar likes to use a POS plastic parts to lock the cable onto the shifter linkages. The plastic just disintegrates after so many years. |

Agree with USPLibby, as when the plastic disintegrates, the adjustment goes wrong. This kind of behavior refers to wrong adjustment of the cable. |

No, I haven't checked the shifter, but since I had to rig up a fix for the transfer case 2 years ago, that's definitely worth a shot. I'll get her up on the ramps this morning and take a look. Thanks |
