I want to buy a used seat out of a wreck/parts Jeep and cannibalize it it for the seat back and hinges/hardware.

My plan is to remove and store my stock rear seat and build a storage box in the area my rear seat now occupies, with a plywood cover, and still be able to use the seat back (with no seat cushions) to sit level on the new lower cover that I can fold up and keep the rear area as a smaller area I can put groceries in so they don't slide forward every time I brake.

The plan is to keep the seat back on it's original hinges and use the seatback locks, while fabricating a carpeted top cover for the box I will build where the original seat frame and bottom cushions are now...

I'd like to make it look as stock to outside observers looking in the windows as I can, while the seat back is folded down to it's original flat position.

All that is to get to the point:
Will a rear seat from any 2002 to 2005 rear seat bolt in in place of the 2006, or are the holes and locks different at some point?

Thanks.
