Great idea. I have been stocking up on spares including a Viscous Heater but a delete kit would be a positive addition especially if it uses the stock serpentine belt. |

Looks good, Do you need to drain some coolant or can you just clamp off the hoses during install? |

I was installing a new thermostat at the same time and lost about two quarts of coolant. Did not clamp off anything. I just simply topped it off with some fresh G-05 50/50 mix. If you were only doing just the viscous heater removal, you could be real quick on swapping the outlet hose from the VH over to the thermostat connection you should not loose hardly any coolant. ![]() |
