Hey, while installing the new lift pump in my KJ, I saw this:

So now I am hoping to figure out:
1) how long until it fails?
2) what is the best repair? How is it attached to the rear axle, in case I need to replace the hose and fittings?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks! I just found it at Napa too...
Part# UP 382311
Anything else I should look at in the brake system before I bleed the air out?

Other than pad condition, no.

If you have rear drum brakes, wheel cylinders.

I'll pass this to my uncle when we start working on his new KJ project. The brake got some issues and the previous owner suspects is it the brake hose. We'll wait for the shocks and jeep bumpers to arrive before we start working on it.
