| Post subject: | 2006 Lib interlock remedy? |
My key would not come out of the ignition, so I disconnected the interlock cable, now it shifts (too) freely, I'm unclear if I should replace the cable, or if there is an issue with the interlock mechanism in the shifter hardware. I've been told by different sources to replace the entire shifter mechanism, and to replace the cable and interlock system in the ignition. I read previous posts on the subject and couldn't find a clear answer. Thanks. |
