I'm thinking about getting these. How bright are they, how many watts? What is the light beam like? Is it a wide flood type light or more like a spot light? My main concern is reflecting excessive light off the hood of the Jeep up into my eyes. It kind of defeats the purpose if your lights cause your pupils to dilate. |

I have heard some people stateing just that. The lights hit the top of the windshield and or bounces back at you. Again I read that somewhere. I dont have one, so cannot confirm. |

Each bulb is 55W, not sure about the other questions since I don't have one. One thing I can add for consideration is the cost - the lightbar kit costs around $300-$500 or so, just so you know, and replacing parts from the ligthbar is like pulling teeth. Getting an aftermarket set of lights will cost significantly less, but you'd need to mount them to a basket or roof rack and wire them yourself. |

Lightbar = $450 (dealer quote to me last week) Installation = $120 ($60 an hour) Total = $570 (quoted from dealer) It could be more could be less depending on when and where you go, or if you decided to do it yourself. |
