Key Fob Function Programming

ok, fairly new to the forum, been lurking for awhile but now I have a head scratcher....

I can use my key fob to program all of the available functions; ie. turn the lock beep on/off, turn the parking light flash on/off, press/press hold the glass opening... But I cannot get it into the programming of new fobs... never get the chime, never get any acknowledgement.

Has anyone seen this before and can help a guy out?

Below is the instructions for additional key programing; it does require that you currently have two valid and functioning keys to program a new one.

Thanks! fixed up the signature...

However, my liberty doesn't have the sentry keys but the separate 04602260 fobs. My Liberty only came with one so I bought two more but can't get them to program. I can change everything else that the remote will affect but can't enter the fob programming.
