that's a good question, I'm pretty sure it's 3yr/36k for bumper to bumper, and 7yr/70K for powertrain right? An explanation for both would be really great if possible. I believe I'll be gonig off the 7/70 |

In my 2002 warranty manual the 7/70 only covers the emission controls. there is clearly no mention of power train or any other coverage past the 3/36. |

Your warranty package can differ based on wehther or not you bought the vehicle new or certified pre-owned. i got mine pre-owned and automatically got the 7/70 power train but could have upgraded to b2b coverage. It all depends on what ya got. |

When i got my 05 i was contemplating ordering an 06 and the dealer told me the 05 models were the last to have the 7/70 powertrain warranty. So i was under the impression that after the 3/36 bumper to bumper the 7/70 powertrain would kick in. So you should have the 7/70 powertrain. Engine, tranny , t-case diff's - anything in the powertrain with a 100. deductable. That's how it was explained to me..........(that was the salesman). You should be covered. |
