I initially wanted to cycle the suspension to see how the 35s fit with just a 3.5 SL & 1" BL, but there wasn't much of anything to act as an obstacle. (I guess I'll have to save that for Crozet.) And since I'm obviously trying really hard to get my munchkin to enjoy the truck, and after an 8-0 field hockey victory, I took her out for a milk shake and a spin. Don't worry, the truck was in low and I was in the passenger seat or literally walking beside, or ahead of her the whole time to snap a few pics. I know, BAD DADDY! Some of you must be thinking that it's people like me that blah, blah, blah. Please don't group me with the likes of Michael Jackson and Brittany Spears. I truely believe I'm somewhat of a normal parent. It was actually a nice father/daughter moment. :crying:

*** DISCLAIMER - PLEASE DON'T ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME WITH YOUR CHILDREN! IT'S TOTALLY IDIOTIC! ***

I don't know what she's looking at, but it's not the road.

Right about now she's realizing that I'm totally crazy for letting her drive.

Moseying along at a snails pace.

Looking like a natural.

Typical female driver. I guess the seat didn't come forward enough for her.

Sneak peak.

Man, im a fan of those old broncos...im jealous i was never born in the era of all the cool 4x4s and muscle cars. Seein those pics of your daughter reminds me of the Alan Jackson song Drive. "When daddy lemme drive..." but you've done great work and love following the project...sent the url to my dad as he had an older bronco just like yours.

I remember i was 10 or so when i first got behind the wheel of my dad's truck, we were out camping and i wasn't allowed to touch the pedals but never the less...king of the road~!

Well, I certainly don't think you're a bad parent for letting your daughter drive at her age. I think more people should get an introduction to driving at an early age. I think they should also learn a healthy respect/fear of driving at an early age. Learn it on a backroad in dad's truck, instead of on the highway during rush-hour. 8)
