Post subject:  Milk Run of my XJ

After months of trying to wrangle and then install a 29 spline rear axle with an LSD in it it all came together last week. Son and I did a milk run today to Cow Mtn OHVA up near Ukiah. All went smoothly with the axle and only a couple of issues to solve before seeing if it can tackle John Bull down at Big Bear.
4.5" RE lift, full underbelly skids and rockers, Kuhmo 32x11.5 Venutre MTs, etc.
Tons of pics at http://www.lostkjnorcal.com/XJ/XJMilkRun.htm

Samples (I know it looks like it but none of these were posers):

Thx JJ. Now I know how you must have felt finally getting your blue thing out on the dirt and rocks.

Thanks Brian. Have to solve a hot engine problem and pound on some fender metal (to prevent it from cutting the tires) but I hope to get it down to John Bull on the 24th.

What's the process for calibrating the speedo on these things? Mine's about 10% high with those 32s.

Not real thrilled with the stopping power but getting used to it.
