A couple people PMed me asking details about my CJ. Nothing special, it's pretty basic.....so here we go:

It's a 1961 replica glass tub, sitting on a 1983 CJ-5 chassis. It has the stock 258 I6, stock axels, 4" suspension lift, 3" body lift, and about 2" lift due to the upgraded heavy duty hangers. 33" tires soon to be 35" (yes, after the upgraded 1-piece axle conversion). The windshield frame is an original 1956 CJ frame (top mounted wipers baby!). I have original CJ low rise seats. Dad & I went ahead and put in some nice flat LED tail lights. I was lucky enough to have an ididit steering column installed (thanx dad!). She's getting painted next month a nice Viper Blue or another Dodge blue (maybe "intense blue")...we'll see. The windshield frame and grill will stay gloss black. Oh, and YES, that is a stainless steel roll bar.






Again, nothing special, just my "Budget CJ".

If you haven't painted it yet, go PATRIOT BLUE!!

LOL! No, no updates...doing all the wiring (CORRECTLY) now...nice to see pink wire going into a green wire, then into a red wire then end up a black wire, UGH! Installed an electric "pusher" fan on the outside of the radiator...has a neat little 180 degree "switch/plug" that screws right into the block so it will turn on and off like a new Jeep (blah). STILL not painted...have never checked out "Patriot Blue" but I will now! I will keep ya updated and post new pics as they come available!

I think there is a rule somewhere that states that CJ5's have to be RED at least once in their life. It sure would look sweet in RED!
