So some of the most versatile trucks I've seen since the unimog...I want one!  I know they're used in Dakar and these Truck Trials in Europe, so how difficult is it to get one of those in to the US?  They may only get 5 mpg on a good day and are more than 10tons but who cares when you have something this cool!

Those TATRAs look like angry armored centipedes! The drivers are nuts too! I love how they just full boogie into the ditch.  It would be strange to drive sitting more foreward than the front drive wheels.
*EDIT* I am going to get a "TATRA Recovery Vehicle" sticker for my KJ.

That Tatra vid was great! I'd love to go to one of those events. Man, it would be a huge blast to drive one of those rigs. I guess if one gets stuck, you just get two or three others to lumber over there and tug him out. |

Yeah those TATRAS are really impressive really gives a MOG a run for its money. Incredible for independent suspension...on steroids! Yeah the truck surfer was really lucky it didnt come out worse...did you see in the last frame the fire hydrant he knocked off hit the parked car next to it? |

I love those things every time I see a video of them all I can think of is how great it would be to have one of those and work for OnStar Onstar opp. "on star how can I help you?" H2 owner "Oh yeah I thought my H2 could go off road and now I am stuck like chuck help" opp. "ok sir we are sending out help" then some ratty guy that looks like Cooter from the Duks of Hazard pulls up in one of those with a tow truck bed on it "herd yall was havin some trouble today folks?" I would love to be there for the trip back with the H2 in tow
