yep, i've read arguments that state running directional tires the opposite way increases traction. no proof though, just heresy. |

A directional tire run backwards will NOT clean out as well as one going forwards. Yes it will get more bite, but if it can't clean out then you are only taking ONE good bite and running mud slicks from there on. in the rocks not sure if it even matters. Now i have heard that some people run 2 forwards and 2 back. The reasoning behind this is, if you get stuck then you can back out. The catch 22 of it is, would you even get stuck if you were running both properly.... |

Just looking at them, I could imagine that, with beadlocks and almost no air, they might actually have more traction on slick-rock, being mounted backward. Either way, I'd love to have a truck like that... someday... |

Not true,I used to mud drag race back in SD and alot of other guys running those Baja Claws would run the front "backwards" and have better traction in the mud,and they cleaned out just the same if they where mounted the correct direction.They do give better traction in the rocks also when mounted backwards.
