that is an awesome rig!

A few specs on this TJ
Four Door Stretch - 136" WB
LS1 400ish HP 400 tq
Turbo 400 Reverse Manual Body
2.7 Klune V
Twin Stick Ford - NP 205
Rockwell Front and Rear 2" 47 spline gun drilled shafts, OEM lockers
PSC Full Hydro Steering Front and Rear
53" Michelins on 20x12 Double Beadlocks Stazworks

I read somewhere that he also had 6.72 or something gears and that the tires alone weighed something like 2000#!

Those 53" Michelins are about 350lbs each and some of the worst tires made for offroading, there not much better then the GoodYear version either(those are load range "G" tires made for the military for there 5tons and larger trucks).

The only gearing available for the Rockwells is 6.72:1,and the only locker, besides lincoln locking,is the Detroit locker.

Nice rig but would do better with some 54" Boggers 8) .

Pretty cool for something ridiculously hard core, but I'd rather tow a boat than trail rig. I like to be able to drive my rig to and from the trail and around town for that matter. Never gonna build something that I won't be able to do that with.

Its not easy to win Top Truck Challenge. He must have done something right. He built it for that purpose, went and won, to me if that is what floats your boat more power to you. He deserves congratulations for his accomplishment.
