Saw this Carabinieri Land Rover while I was in Florence, Italy right by Galleria degli Uffizi. I thought it was pretty cool with all of its caged windows and such. Also, anyone know what the part on top of the hood is all about? |

I was stationed over in Italy. There are several types of police, you've got the Polizia, they drive these blue & white cars, but the Carabineri are part of the Italian Army. Its not like MP's or the FBI, some of their units are really doo doo hot. They also don't play games, they shoot first and ask questions later. Years ago, they used to drive the Rover Defender 90's, let me tell you, you could drive over anything, and in anything for that matter. Take care, Steve |

that's definitely over a9/b6+ hard to tell other than the fact you can see the black edge of the window but i'd bet that windshield is 40mm thick caging is more for stopping odd blunt trauma to the windows rather than projectile protection Diggerfreek should buy me one |
