Yeah, if I could afford a "project" right now, I'd try to find a good Sammy and lift and lock it. I had one (stock) when I was in college and loved it. Spent a lot of time up in the Chiva Falls area near Tucson. The trail guide on my first organized ride at Moab drove a red Sammy w/ a Powertrax in the rear and ~2" lift (sprung over or under, or whatever). He could go anywhere. Shamed a couple of stock Wranglers. |
