putting one in the front makes sense because of ice. You ever driven a locker on ice? its pretty scary if the locker is in the rear. I realize he can switch it off but if he has it 4 wheel drive with the locker locked there is less chance for it to fishtail off the road.

I understand that, but #1 that perticular WJ has the Quadra-trac II 4wd, which allows the computer to distribute 100% of power to any wheel. Why change out the diff if that was what he had? #2 If he was actually wheeling this WJ why not have one in the rear too? Why leave the electronic diff there?
