So now I know not to test the waters with out a winch or another truck to pull me out. Luckily a passing by wheeler in a pickup truck gave me a pull out.
I guess its time to look in to mud tire. The life is coming this week.

Great pictures. Good idea on the mud tires, but tell me you didn't use those filmsy looking carabiner/hook as a recovery point!! Get yourself some tow hooks or a d-ring shackle, because those are NOT SAFE!!

"You must have opened your door right? Cause we had my girls liberty stuck in the mud half-way up the doors, and no water got in it at all.

Another hard lesson learned
Never go out wheeling alone
Always get out and walk an area like that and measure the water/mud

Signs to look for as you are coming upon a spot like that

You can see where others have went up on the bank to avoid the deep spots

old tire laying on the bank, the worst holes always have an old tire on the bank it seems!   Well everyone that I got stuck in have

Cool points for the dog and strap hooked to him   8) 8)

Oh yes we want to know your fist words as you felt it starting to sink

I have been threw this area before. I guess this time it was deeper. The first thing in my head was a smile I'm glad I have my camera so I can post this tonight. My girl friend and I were just laughing the entire time.
