looks like we're going to pick this waggy up tonite. it's an 83 limited 1 owner (YES 1 OWNER), 140k miles, 37k miles on rebuilt 6 cyl engine. the work was done by st pete, chrysler jeep. it runs super smooth. it's real solid. has just a little rust on bottom of both rear quarters. the tan interior is really nice, cold A/C, cd player, remote door locks, all the window motors work. it just needs a new headliner. mechanically all it needs is a new ignition switch (for now) & it's ready to go. obviously it's been repainted so no wood . it's a pretty decent paint job though. the best part.....ONLY $1,225!!!! the guy's in his mid 70's, took very good care of it but just doesn't want or need it anymore...yay for us !!!! i think we got a fantastic deal on a great waggy to start fixing up & having fun with. thanks to everyone on IFSJA who responded to my post yesterday, much appreciated!!! now i need to sell my 86GW....anyone, anyone??

we didn't pick it up tonite. the owner said there's a vacuum line he wants to have fixed before he sells it to us...how nice is that?! the bummer is he's out of town right now so i guess we'll have to wait a few more days to get it  .... as soon as we do i'll post bunches of pics in & out. CAN'T WAIT!!!! 8)

It would be a shame to do any mods and off road it. Do a Google on The Wagon Master. He might be interested and you could turn a NICE profit.

a "PROFIT"???? on a jeep????? i didn't know that was possible...LOL. .. yeah, we plan on restoring it little by little & keeping it as original as possible. a few little mechanical fixes first then get the "wood" put back on it. the only mods will be a killer stereo & light window tint all around & certainly no off roading. just some light scenic trail rides when we go camping. 8)

now my 86GW on the other hand is the PERFECT candidate for a lift & some serious off-roading! i'll be putting a detailed description & lots of pics up soon in the for sale section for it.
