Took a trip out to Jackson Hole, WY for some snowboarding and saw this lifted, skid plated VW Van, gunmetal matte grey.

Those Syncros are cool for sure
Full time 4 WD with locking differentials, military inspired chassis
Some who have them have installed Subaru engines for more power and fuel mileage
Full little things to camp and travel in

I've had a couple Westy camper vans. They don't need no stinkin' Subaru. . . . they need VW TDI's. More torque, better fuel economy. . yada yada.
