Nice, the square bodied Chevy trucks/SUV's are my favorite. The 6.2 isn't the best for performance, but can be upgraded some. Check out dieselplace.com for some upgrades. The drivetrain is pretty good too, with the 4L80 and 14 bolt rear. They can be lifted pretty cheap too, put a 3" suspension lift on my 87 K5 blazer for about $500 total and with some 33's it looked pretty good. I would remove the wheel well trim though, looks better without. |

In fact, my plans contain: LL4 6.2D engine, 4L80-E automatic, NP205, DANA 60 king-pin 9.75" front, GM Corporate 14bff 10.5" rear, 4 springs 2.5" Skyjacker suspension lift, PSC hydro assist steering kit, ORD steering box brace and frame repair kit, 285/75R16 BFG MT KM2 tyres (33x11.5x16) and 16x8 8 spoke chrome rims!
