The fan spraying that dirty water all up in my face.
I shut it down so it didn't suck up water, got out, checked the filter, put the filter back in and told my friend to start the jeep so I could winch out and I didn't notice the bottom of the fan was in the water. I was leaning right over it when he started it. Good thing I had my sunglasses on. lol

Well a story will have to count for this...since I reformatted my pc tower and lost all my pics.

The first summer of owning my KJ, I backed it up to the backend of my yard to shuck corn. Mind you my house is built on a filled in pond (in a subdivision) and the ground gets very soft after the rains. After I get doen shucking my corn, I jump off in my Jeep to pull it back into the driveway. Well, that didn't happen. Instead I dug myself a nice rut in the backyard. I had to call a friend to come over in his Dodge truck to pull me out, because I could not get myself out. To give you an idea of how deep the ruts were, imagine a stocker burried down to the ground to where you can't see what's under it from the front. My Liberty was a stocker at the time with street tires, when I got stuck. I'd say the ruts were a foot deep. Needles to say, it was embarrassing get stuck in your own yard.

Here's a picture of KJ_WHEELER_2010 stuck though :-)r
Had to pull him out. He wanted to be cool and drive through a soft creek bed in 2WD stock KJ :ROTFL:

I don't have a pic of the front end but lets just say that the front tires were grabbing nothing but air. Crested the berm and got high centered. Thank (diety of your choice) for skid plates, I was resting on the trans skid. Would've wrecked the transpan without it.

My dad ended up coming out in his truck to pull us both out, ripped off the other guys bumper in the process :-)r

OK, I'll play...

2006. We simply refer to this as "The Jeep Incident". My wife and I had flown into San Francisco on our way up to Oregon and had the choice to either rent a Liberty or a Saturn VUE. I was driving a Saturn at the time and was leaning towards the VUE, but my wife said, "Lets rent a Jeep and see what it's like." On our way back from Crater Lake, we took off down a fire road and promptly got stuck in rotting snow. After a six mile hike back to civilization (well, the main road anyway) we were rescued by AAA. A week after returning, we bought our own Liberty.

2008. We had just bought our new General Grabber AT2s and wanted to try them out in the woods behind our property. We got about ten feet past the property line when we got mired in goo. What we see here is my Amish neighbor using two of his Belgian draft horses to pull us out.

Image
2010. An obstacle at Jeepskool, our local offroad park. This lovely mudhole is called Drunk Tank, and we got talked into trying it by the trail leaders. We knew we wouldnt make it through, so we had our strap ready to go...what we didnt expect was that the spare tire would bounce off the lip of the hole and warp the tailgate. We were all surprised that the glass didn't pop. Trail leaders now refer to us as "Those nuts in the Liberty who had all five tires on the ground at the same time."

Here's a video of me almost drowning my jeep, getting stuck and recovering at the sametime.

There was a 6-foot embankment to the right of the jeep, and deeper water to the left. Only way out was where you went in.
Theres no oil in it. Thats just from me having just got done spinning the tires.
