hey jjskj (and everyone else... :D ...)....found this while poking around...check out these cherokees at tellico orv park just north of murphy, north carolina...the quote below is from a poster on a florida jeep site...floridajeepers.net....the link takes you to a few videos with soundtrack....the first one is really good....the others are good too....

Quote:
Once again the best xj event in the southeast...

Probably 30 xj's gathered at crawfords campground in murphy NC for the 6th annual Crawl. We got there in time to ride Thursday thru Saturday. The slickrock trail ride turned into a 13 hour ordeal...no one gets left behind...even our attempt to run Gaurdrail/Helicopter/Schoolbus was over 9 hours...lots of broken stuff...next time we go we will not go in groups over 6 but we will bring a lot more of the little stuff that you break...yokes, etc...

I even gave my self permission to flop it or at least do some significant body damage and wound up with out a scratch...one of my headlight trim pieces did rattle loose somewhere on trail one but I wont count that as trail damage.

Here is a little video one of the xj'ers put together....
http://allthingsoffroad.com/index.cfm/m/1/m/28

Just some loose bolts on the yellowxj...

My wife broke two passenger side front axle shafts, broke the driverside rear lift block, forced both rear springs into a negative arch, and ripped the rear drive shaft out of the yoke...She had a good time...Trying to find video of her launch up slickrock with a giant 4 wheel off the ground hop that did most of the damage...just the one front axle shaft broke on slickrock...the rest happened later but I'm sure the bounce on slickrock is what led to the rest...

Superman took his red MJ up there too and had a good time despite some set backs...I guess thats what you call that tree...a set back...and a leafspring center pin that sheared off on slickrock...the red MJ did good though.

cool stuff huh?...
