 Post subject: Gilmer Texas (pics)

Just came back from a great weekend out at Gilmer TX, here are some photos.
Damage
The CJ ripped off both motor mounts, and the XJ had a little body damage, but it was a great time.

The CJ ripped of one engine mount on Jeepy Hollow, and by the time we strapped down the motor mount with a ratchet strap and got the jeep back up to the trailer the other motor mount ripped.

i think that spyder revene is one of the best trails lotta off camber turns "twisty"
we go every year in january and some times more

cant beat the east texas oil roads.
i lived in longview for a couple of years and we spent many a day out there running those trails...

good to see someone else enjoying them!!

Oh Man...I love that East Texas soil. I grew up in Atlanta Texas and still miss many of the trails in that local area. Thanks for the pictures guys. Later...Clint

Man do i get emotional everytime that i see the old stomping grounds lol... It's good to see people from Texas wheeling. I used to go to Gilmer and Katemcy atleast twice a year... My regular was Clayton oklahoma though.

that's why I don't like it when it's slick ... but DeWoody was dry and it made it up without problems or winch :)
