Just sitting up with my dog ,she came out of hospital this afternoon and has had the need to go to the toilet a lot,probably the medication and anastetic.So dont want her having a restless night holding it all in until morning.I've really missed her she was only in two days but it felt like weeks.

were they able to do anything for her? Is she cured? boy I hope so...don't mean to get al emocional on you but I realy wanna know. I've spend some sleepless nights with my dogs as well.

They dont think its a chest infection anymore ,they think her immune system is producing far to many silcicia (spelling?) as if it was trying to fight off an allergy or parasite and is clogging her lungs ,so she has to take 9 pills a day until it gets under control and then they can reduce the dosage, she may have to stay on the tablets for life but it's too early to tell.just good to have her home.This was taken about 4 months ago,she was 1 yr old this tuesday

lost a boxer to cancer last year,she was 3 yrs old

Sorry to hear about the boxer ,love boxers they are mad as hatters never seem to grow up. Her name is Maiya she has just turned 1yr. Jeez had to give her 5 tablets this morning ...that was fun she is a crafty bugger if you hide the tablet in food or a treat she nibbles around the treat and spits the tablet out.

you can try smashing the tablets into little bits so she wont be able to spit them out...mine does the same thing.

Try cheese, the soft and creamy kind, they love that.

boxer was on stiroids to give her more time to live,had to hide tablets in meat,if tablets was in food ,even with meet ,she could smell it,had to give tablet in meat in my hand,her name was jaz,she lived for 2.5 months,she was great with kids,local kids liked playing with her,jimmy,easy to feel like they are your kids

That's how I feel about my pitbulls.

Everybody thinks they are monsters untill they get to meet them. Al my friends an neighbours love my dogs.

We had an American stafford too who died just last year age 5 and it broke my hart...like my wife died or something. I cried for 3 days...still mis the little clown. He had his ways to make me smile every day.

Keltick you knew boxers are related to Pits? They have the same body (all muscle) and caracter only their jaw is different.

Nice looking dogs you got there,i had freinds who had pit bulls before they were banned,lovely temperment one was called semtex, and the other knuckles.

Sorry I have been busy. I just ordered the Cherokee door plastic guards to replace my Liberty ones.
